About Straw For Fashion

Straw is a plant-based material made from the dried stalks and leaves of various cereal plants and palms. The term "straw" applies to a wide range of plant fibers cultivated in different regions worldwide.

In the fashion industry, straw is increasingly valued as a sustainable, lightweight material for accessories, particularly hats and bags. The price of these accessories varies depending on the type of plant fiber used, influenced by factors such as growing regions and production volume. For instance, raffia is more expensive than wheat or barley straw, as it is primarily grown in Madagascar and produced in smaller quantities.

Straw is recognized as a sustainable fiber.
